Tetradrachm, minted in Ake-Ptolemaida, circa 113/2–107/6 BC
Obverse: Head with diadem of Antiochus IX facing right.
Reverse: Inscription "ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ ΦΙΛΟΠΑΤΟΡΟΣ" (of King Antiochus Philopator). Athena standing facing forward, with her head turned to the left, holding Nike (Victory) in her right hand and a spear and shield in her left; to the left, a monogram; at the bottom right, the letter Σ; all framed by a laurel wreath.
Condition: Very Fine. Good tone, details and legends are clearly visible.
