Obv.: Head of Dionysus to the right, with a crown of vine and ivy leaves and long hair. Rev.: Naked Heracles, lion skin on his shoulder, flowing in the wind, standing to the left, with a club in his right hand. Legend: HΡAKΛEOΥΣ // ΣΩTHΡOΣ // ΘAΣIΩN. which translates as: Heracles the great of Thasos.
